Requirements__________________________________________________

In order for our services to work for you, you will need  the following:

1.  A CallMe-Online.com Account

Obviously, in order for us to provide you service, you will need to have an account with us. For exact pricing on the accounts check out the rates pages marked Business and Residential.  Business accounts and Residential accounts are charged differently.

2.  A Broadband or High Speed Internet access.

We do not provide broadband internet services.  Although this may be something that we will consider in the future, it is not something that we offer at this time.  Our service will work on a DSL line, Cable internet, T1 Line, or any other broadband internet services.  What our services will not work with is a single ISDN line, or dial-up internet.  If you have a dual ISDN line, there is a possibility that the service can be used, but we still do not recommend it.

3.  A Conversion box, Soft-Phone, or IP phone

     A.  A Conversion box - We can sell you a conversion box if you so desire.  This box will plug into your router or switch on one side and the other side plugs into either a telephone or your homes existing telephone wiring.  This box will work with any existing telephone, and usually is cheaper than purchasing an IP phone.  Our conversion box is NOT locked to our service.  Unlike other major carriers, we do not force you to stay with our service.  If you are coming from another service and have a conversion box already, make sure that you can change the IP settings on it, or you will be required to purchase a new one.

     B.  A Soft-Phone - We can provide you a download of a soft-phone (CLICK HERE), or you can download one from download.com.  Be sure to get a phone that is not locked to a different service provider!  Soft phones work well with our service, but tend to be less reliable than our conversion boxes or IP phones.  There tends to be a slight delay that happens in the local computer with most soft-phones.

     C.  An IP Phone - We can sell you an IP phone that is designed  for use with our service.  This phone will plug directly into your router or switch.  This is usually the best way to connect to our network, but is also the most expensive.  Our IP Phones are NOT locked to our service.  Unlike other major carriers, we do not force you to stay with our service.  If you are coming from another service and have an IP Phone already, make sure that you can change the IP settings on your it, or you will be required to purchase a new one.
